ice cave meditation ❄️🧘

filled my bathtub with lukewarm water and 3 bags of ice. added blue led lights and nordic ambient music. the sensation of being in an ice cave while focusing on my breath was transcendent. my mind has never been clearer.

steps

  1. fill bathtub with lukewarm (not hot) water
  2. add 2-3 bags of ice to create cold patches
  3. place blue LED lights around the bathroom or waterproof ones in the tub
  4. put on nordic ambient music or sounds of wind through ice caves
  5. enter the tub and find a comfortable position
  6. practice slow breathing while moving between warmer and colder areas
  7. focus on the sensation of temperature on your skin
  8. stay for 15-20 minutes
